2006年国家教育部以教高[2006]16号文件的形式颁发了《关于全面提高高等职业教育教学质量的若干意见》,在文件中提出:加强专业教学标准建设,逐步构建专业认证体系,推行“双证书”制度――学历证书和职业资格证书并重的制度。商务英语专业的人才培养方案和课程体系的设置应参照相关的职业资格标准,以职业能力和职业资格标准为核心,把职业资格证书内容融入课堂教学内容和课程体系,建立突出职业能力培养的课程体系,实现高职教育人才培养目标。

一:“课证融合”的含义

“课证融合”即融“证”入“课”,以“课”为主,将职业技能理论考核内容与相关课程的教学内容相融合,将职业技能操作考核内容与实习、实训教学内容相结合,实现学历证书与职业资格证书这两类证书内涵的衔接与对应, 实现 "一教双证"。

二:外贸函电课程传统教学模式的问题及课程教学改革建议

外贸英语函电是一门实践性和操作性很强的课程,旨在使学生掌握与外贸业务各个流程相关的信函的写法,而现实是该课程在教学中存在着理论和实践相脱节的现象。

1.函电课程传统教学模式的问题

(1)外贸英语函电教材五花八门,但内容大致相似,其中存在较严重的问题就是:内容陈旧,有些甚至是搬用一二十年前的出版物,不适合21 世纪外贸的新形势;教材范例多但不够系统。其次,很多教材的编撰者是英语老师,没有外贸工作背景,与外贸实际操作脱节。

(2)外贸英语函电这门课程的特点决定教师一要具备普通英语写作教学能力,二要精通熟悉外贸业务,而目前兼具这两种能力的教师可谓凤毛麟角。另外教师与从事外贸行业的毕业生或专业人士沟通甚少,这对教学工作很不利。

(3)外贸英语函电是英语写作和外贸业务知识相结合的一门综合性课程,但在传统教学中,教师只重视知识的连续性和陈述性,对范例的选择和使用以及学生对范例的理解及模仿因为缺乏具体的工作环境变得空洞、不够系统,结果导致职业能力缺失。

2.课程教学改革建议

(1)加大外贸英语函电教材和课程内容的改革力度

通过从实训基地和实习单位以及其它方式收集与教学内容相关的外贸业务往来信函等第一手资料,编写案例集,与外贸企业合作编写符合工作实际的工学结合校本教材,并运用到教学过程中,弥补当下许多外贸英语函电教材可操作性不强及范例不够连贯、系统的缺憾。

(2)培养“双师型”教学团队。坚持“走出去,请进来”的原则。定期选派教师到外贸公司参观学习,顶岗锻练,积累实际工作经验;邀请外贸专家来校讲座,聘请外贸从业人员与教师共同执教。

(3)加强双语教学。在教学中将涉及的商务专业词汇,合同条款、保险条款、信用证、单证等内容尽可能用英语表达,使学生尽可能多输入外贸商务知识,且英语阅读和口语能力也得到提高。

(4)教学手段多样化

使用多媒体教学手段。首先,可以演示部分函电素材,如电报、传真、电子邮件、单据、合同、信用证等,同时,教师示范起草、填写、修改等操作,以直观、生动的形式联系实际。如讲到电子邮件,教师可通过网络向学生介绍用MSN、网易等常用邮箱收发邮件;又如讲到装运一章时,可以上网搜索国内外海运公司网站,查阅真实素材,给予学生很强的感性认识,有助于推进学习者的认知过程。其次,教师可利用多媒体课件,展现丰富多彩的教学内容。再次,该课程涉及大量的需要将写好的函电通过网络传递到虚拟业务伙伴处。师生间可以通过答疑、网上讨论、网上习题等方式实现教师与学生之间以及学生与学生之间的互动。

三:课证融通的教学方案设计

1.设计的总体思路

贯彻能力本位、校企合作、工学结合、持续发展的高职教育理念,以发展学生岗位能力为目标,通过典型的工作任务分析确定课程内容。在教学生外贸函电基本知识的时候,创设工作情境要求学生在具体工作角色下分工合作,完成业务往来信函,强调信函之间的联系,每笔业务的连贯性。课程的教学内容与外贸企业业务员实际岗位及相关的职业考证相融合,体现“课证融通”的思想,努力培养外贸行业高素质应用型人才。

2.课程内容设计:

笔者分析了所在高职商务英语专业学生参加的全国国际商务英语考试的考核标准后尝试把考核标准纳入商务英语专业教学计划,将考试内容融入课程体系中。现以外贸函电这门商务英语专业核心课为例探讨如何在外贸函电教学中融入全国国际商务英语考试内容,让学生既获得了阅读、翻译和写作英语商务信函能力,又帮助学生完成了考证的培训,提高学生考证的通过率。

下面先让我们认识一下全国国际商务英语考试这种新兴的考试。全国国际商务英语考试是2007年由商务部中国国际贸易学会发起,“全国国际商务英语培训认证考试中心”认证,是对国际商务英语交际能力的测试,考试结果可作为相关企事业单位人员招聘的参考和国际商务从业人员英语能力的评价依据。该考试旨在统一测试标准和操作规范,促进相关的教育和培训工作,提高国际商务从业人员的职业英语水平。做为一种尺度参照性标准考试,该考试从听力、阅读、翻译与写作、口语四个模块客观地评价被测试者在国际商务环境中的英语应用能力。全国国际商务英语(一级)的考试范围涵盖语言和商务两方面的内容,商务方面涉及国际商务中的常见业务,突出国际贸易实务。考试要求:1.阅读模块能读懂商务信函、广告、备忘录、便条、通知、通用商务单证等商务材料,能运用有效的阅读技巧,掌握中心意思,理解主要事实和相关细节,并能够归纳推理。阅读速度不低于70词每分钟。2.翻译与写作模块能够在30分钟内完成不少于100词的商务写作任务。涉及简历、备忘录、商务信函、通知等应用文体。内容完整,格式正确,语言准确,语意连贯,能够运用基本的写作技巧。能够翻译简单的商务信函、产品说明等材料,译文正确。

根据全国国际商务英语(一级)考试要求,笔者将外贸函电教学内容与全国国际商务英语考核内容相整合。教师在讲授课本教材的时候,根据证书考试的内容和就业需求改变教学方法,以“动态”的方式有的放矢的把职业资格证书课程考试的内容纳入课堂教学。见下图:

英文地址的写法与中文完全不同,地址的名称按从小到大的顺序:第一行写门牌号码和街名;第二行写县、市、省、州、邮编、国名;然后再写日期。标点符号一般在每一行的末尾都不用,但在每一行的之间,该用的还要用,例如在写日期的时候。

日期的写法,如1997年7月30日,英文为:july30,1997(最为普遍);july30th,1997;30thjuly,1997等。1997不可写成97。

2、信内地址(insideaddress)

在一般的社交信中,信内收信人的地址通常省略,但是在公务信函中不能。将收信人的姓名、地址等写在信头日期下方的左角上,要求与对信头的要求一样,不必再写日期。

3、称呼(salutation)

是写信人对收信人的称呼用语。位置在信内地址下方一、二行的地方,从该行的顶格写起,在称呼后面一般用逗号(英国式),也可以用冒号(美国式)。

(1)写给亲人、亲戚和关系密切的朋友时,用dear或mydear再加上表示亲属关系的称呼或直称其名(这里指名字,不是姓氏)。例如:mydearfather,deartom等。

(2)写给公务上的信函用dearmadam,dearsir或gentleman(gentlemen)。注意:dear纯属公务上往来的客气形式。gentlemen总是以复数形式出现,前不加dear,是dearsir的复数形式。

(3)写给收信人的信,也可用头衔、职位、、学位等再加姓氏或姓氏和名字。例如:dearprof.timscales,deardr.johnsmith。

4、正文(bodyoftheletter)

位置在下面称呼语隔一行,是信的核心部分。因此要求正文层次分明、简单易懂。和中文信不同的是,正文中一般不用hello!(你好!)

正文有缩进式和齐头式两种。每段书信第一行的第一个字母稍微向右缩进些,通常以五个字母为宜,每段第二行从左面顶格写起,这就是缩进式。

但美国人写信各段落往往不用缩进式,用齐头式,即每一行都从左面顶格写起。商务信件大都采用齐头式的写法。

5、结束语(complimentaryclose)

在正文下面的一、二行处,从信纸的中间偏右处开始,第一个词开头要大写,句末用逗号。不同的对象,结束语的写法也不同。

(1)写给家人、亲戚,用yourlovinggrandfather,lovinglyyours,lovingly等;

(2)写给熟人、朋友,用yourscordially,yoursaffectionately等;

(3)写业务信函用truelyyours(yourstruely),faithfullyyours(yoursfaithfully)等;

(4)对上级、长辈用yoursobediently(obedientlyyours),yoursrespectfully(respectfullyyours)等。

6、签名(signature)

低于结束语一至二行,从信纸中间偏右的地方开始,在结束语的正下方,在签完名字的下面还要有用打字机打出的名字,以便识别。职务、可打在名字的下面。当然,写给亲朋好友的信,就不必再打了。

7、附言(postscript)

一封信写完了,突然又想起遗漏的事情,这时用p.s.表示,再写上遗漏的话即可,要长话短说。通常在信末签名下面几行的左方,应于正文齐头。

注意:在正式的信函中,应避免使用附言。

8、附件(enclosure)

信件如果有附件,可在信纸的左下角,注上encl:或enc:,例如:encl:2photos(内附两张照片)。如果福建附件不止一项,应写成encl:或encs。

我们有时可看到在称呼与正文之间有re:或subject:(事由)字样。一般在信纸的中间,也可与称呼对齐。还应在底下加横线,以引起读信人的注意,使收信人便于在读信之前就可了解信中的主要内容。事由一般在公务信函中使用,也可以省略。

在一样平常的交际信中,信内收信人的地点通常省略,但是在公事信函中不可不写。将收信人的姓名、地点等写在信头日期下方的左角上,要求与对信头的要求一样,不用再写日期。
